Santa Fe's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Whittier Cardinals with a sharp 5-1 win. The Chiefs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by three goals or more this season.

Mya Campbell and Kaylee Ruiz scored all five of Santa Fe's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Santa Fe is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4-1 record this season. As for Whittier, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-7-2.

Santa Fe will challenge El Rancho at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Santa Fe has won five straight at home, while El Rancho won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Whittier, they will square off against California at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
