Ludlowe and Stamford are an even 4-4 against one another since February of 2015, but not for long. The Ludlowe Falcons will head out on the road to take on the Stamford Black Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Ludlowe is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
Last Friday, Ludlowe came up short against Staples and fell 51-44. Ludlowe has not had much luck with Staples recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Meanwhile, Stamford unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 45-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Greenwich. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Stamford came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 13th, while Greenwich is ranked 114th).
Ludlowe's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Stamford, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-4.
Ludlowe came up short against Stamford when the teams last played back in February of 2023, falling 54-44. Thankfully for Ludlowe, Chris Nanna (who scored 12 points along with six rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
