The Udall Eagles will take on the South Central Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Udall, yet to win a game, are hoping to taste some of the success that has characterized South Central's (thus far) undefeated season.
Udall is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Kiowa County on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Udall was dealt a 62-12 defeat at the hands of Kiowa County.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Central). They took their match at home on Friday with ease, bagging an 80-0 win over Independent. The Timberwolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 46 points or more this season.
JT Prusa was his usual excellent self, rushing for 196 yards and four touchdowns. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 78-yard run. Jett Petty was another key player, rushing for 58 yards and a touchdown.
He was just one part of a punishing run game: South Central was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 309 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2023.
