Providence extended their winning streak to three on Monday, bumping their season record up to 11-5 in the process. Everything went their way against the South Central Rebels as they made off with a 15-4 victory. The Pioneers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by seven runs or more this season.
Gavin Jackson was excellent, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Straub, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.
Providence was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .520. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Central only posted a batting average of .222.

The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.67 runs per game on average), something the Rebels will no doubt try to take advantage of.
