The Kettering Captains's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 69-44 walloping at the hands of Walled Lake Central. Kettering was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-11.
When it comes to explaining why Kettering lost, one person who can't be blamed is Nathan Bisnett. Despite the final result, he scored 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Diego Rocha, who scored nine points.
Kettering's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Walled Lake Central, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.
Kettering will head out on the road to face off against Mott at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Mott's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Kettering has been banged up by 13 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season. Walled Lake Central will take on Walled Lake Western at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Walled Lake Western has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 1.
