The Western Warriors will head out on the road to challenge the Doss Dragons at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Western has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while Doss will arrive with eight straight victories.
Last Tuesday, Western came up short against Seneca and fell 57-46.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday Doss sidestepped Iroquois for a 36-33 victory.
Western has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-16 record this season. As for Doss, they pushed their record up to 10-7 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Everything came up roses for Western against Doss when the teams last played back in December of 2022 as the squad secured a 60-26 win. With Western ahead 32-11 at the half, the game was all but over already.
