Make it five blowout wins for the Balko Bison this season. They were the clear victor by a 51-29 margin over Goodwell. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Balko has posted since November 28, 2023.
Balko was led to victory by Estrella Martinez and Emelie Trentham. Martinez dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds, while Trentham scored ten points along with six steals. Another player making a difference was Aspen Freeman, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and two blocks.
Balko has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Goodwell, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.
Balko will be playing at home against Forgan at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Forgan is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Goodwell, they will head out on the road to square off against Laverne at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
