The Rich Township Raptors are taking a road trip to  square off against the Morgan Park Mustangs  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Rich Township will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  runs each  contest than the last.
Rich Township is headed in fresh off scoring the most  runs they have   all season. Everything went their way against Thornridge on Monday as they made off with  an  18-0 win. With that  victory, the Raptors brought their scoring average up to 7.2  runs per game.
Rich Township got a great performance from  Maurice Pinkney as he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit while striking out 14 over five innings pitched. Pinkney has been consistent : he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in five consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Brandon Bankhead, who  scored three  runs and  stole four bases while going 3-for-3. That's the most  runs  he has posted since back in May of 2024.  Gio Rivera was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
 Rich Township  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 14  hits. That's a new  trend for them: they were averaging 4.8  hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 8.8.
 Meanwhile, Morgan Park waltzed into their match  on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single  run of losing the streak, but they secured  a   2-1 W against the Sun Warriors. Two seems to be a good number for the Mustangs as the  squad scooped up a  win with the same number of  runs in their previous game.
 Morgan Park pushed their record up to 5-2-2 with the  victory, which was their third straight  at home. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Rich Township, their  victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-7.
