Basketball Recap: Pelion's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Pelion put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 36-28 victory over the Wagener-Salley War Eagles. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the War Eagles, too.

Pelion got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kolton Rogers out in front who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds. Rogers has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Tyshawn Caldwell, who posted 11 points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Pelion's victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Pelion will take on Whitmire at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Wagener-Salley will be paying especially close attention to the Panthers' matchup: after the Panthers face off against the Wolverines, they'll take on Wagener-Salley again at 7:30 p.m. on December 2.
