Tempe and Coronado are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2014, but not for long. Tempe fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Cortez on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 85-73 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Colts. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Nassir Cobbs, who scored 19 points.
Meanwhile, Coronado strolled past Vista Grande with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 58-39. The win made it back-to-back wins for Coronado.
Tempe has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season. As for Coronado, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
