Leading Riverside Prep to victory were James Macey and Raoul Churchill. Macey scored 12 points along with 8 rebounds and 7 steals, while Churchill scored 23 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals. The matchup was Macey's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Keion Jordan, who scored 7 points along with 5 steals.
Despite the loss, Academy for Academic Excellence still got an impressive performance from Ethan Spidle, who scored 20 points along with 7 rebounds. Spidle scored a full 37.7% of Academy for Academic Excellence's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Jacob Malek was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
