Wyatt is 9-1 against North Side since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Wyatt Chaparrals will be home for the holidays to greet the North Side Steers at 7:30 p.m. Wyatt has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last five games.
Wyatt scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Southwest, posting a 74-19 victory at home. That looming 74-19 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Wyatt yet this season.
Wyatt's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zyniesha Horner, who scored 22 points along with seven steals and five rebounds. Those 22 points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Cynaa Weathers, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, North Side's seven-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They snuck past Trimble Tech with a 31-26 win.
Wyatt is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season. As for North Side, their win bumped their record up to 6-10.
