The Concord Christian Lions pushed their score all the way to 64 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Grace Christian Academy by a score of  66-64. Concord Christian has not had much luck with Grace Christian Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
 Despite the loss, Concord Christian still got an impressive performance from   Dominic Alford, who  scored 28 points along with 9  rebounds and 5  steals. The  match was  Alford's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Drew Sloan, who  scored 11 points along with 8  rebounds.
 Concord Christian has  not been sharp recently, as they've  lost four of their last five contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Grace Christian Academy, the  win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.
 Concord Christian will be playing at home against Berean Christian at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Berean Christian knows how to get  points on the board -- the  squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully Concord Christian likes a good challenge. As for Grace Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Christian Academy of Knoxville at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Christian Academy of Knoxville is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home.
