The Mars Fightin' Planets can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. Everything went their way against West Allegheny as Mars made off with a 83-58 win. The score was close at the half, but Mars pulled away in the second half with 48 points.
It was another big night for Ryan Ceh, who scored 45 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Mars' points. Remi Black was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with nine rebounds and three blocks.
Mars now has a winning record of 10-9. As for West Allegheny, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season.
Mars will head out on the road to take on the Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for West Allegheny, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. North Hills is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
