Jackson Resh's Rushing Yards a New Career-High
Starting off the list is Allegany's Jackson Resh, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Thursday Resh forced a fumble and made seven total tackles (1.0 for loss), good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now rushed for 100 or more in the last five games he's played dating back to last season.
For the season, Resh has averaged 9 total tackles per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown. This year he is already up to five.

Khiante Bible Turns in Season-Best Performance
Sadly, Khiante Bible posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Allegany over Saint James on Thursday. Bible's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 105 rushing yards.
For the year, Bible has run in 2 touchdowns while averaging 78.6 rushing yards per game.

While Jabril Daniels delivered a dominant performance on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Fort Hill. Briar Woods had no answer to Daniels as he rushed for 61 yards.
If history really does repeat itself, Daniels might just drop another big game when he faces off against Mountain Ridge on Saturday. Back in December of 2023 (the last time Daniels saw the Miners), he rushed for 304 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 14.5 yards per carry.
