Basketball Recap: Kennett Comes Up Short

On Monday, the Kennett Indians had to suffer through a 71-43 loss at the hands of the Farmington Knights.

When it comes to explaining why Kennett lost, don't look at Alyce Edwards. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double on 32 points and nine rebounds. The game was Edwards' sixth in a row with at least ten points.

Kennett now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Farmington, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kennett will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Malden at 7:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025. Farmington will take on Oakville in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
