Baseball Recap: Atrisco Heritage Academy Gets the Win

Atrisco Heritage Academy's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Hope Christian Huskies 7-5. This was a revenge game for the Jaguars: when they faced off against the Huskies back in March, they had to take a 8-2 loss.

Manuel Palos spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits.

On the hitting side, Atrisco Heritage Academy let Ignacio Quintana and Samuel Gonzalez run wild. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.6 runs over those games. As for Hope Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-9 record this season.
