Despite the loss, Langham Creek still got an impressive performance from Jordan King, who rushed for 46 yards and two touchdowns. The Lobos also got help from Kamari Camp, who showed off his sure hands for 97 receiving yards.
Waller found their leader in sophomore Tristin 'T.K' Gaines, who rushed for 154 yards and three TDs while picking up 8.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 126 yards and one touchdown. Those three rushing touchdowns set a new season-high mark for 'T.K' Gaines.
Langham Creek's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-2. As for Waller, their record now sits at 5-3.
