South Shelby's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Charlie Roush, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Roush scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Belle Roush, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds.
Canton's loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2. As for South Shelby, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.
Canton will be playing at home against Mendon Unity at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mendon Unity is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. South Shelby's road trip will continue as they head out to face Centralia at 6:00 p.m. on December 15th. Centralia has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 258 points over their last four matchups.
