The Waynesville Tigers''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 13-12 to Ozark. Waynesville lost against Ozark in their previous head to head back in October of 2017, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 43-14 score last time.
Waynesville's loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 2-8. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 9-0 Lebanon and 9-1 Kickapoo (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 67.3% over those games). As for Ozark, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-8.
Waynesville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Ozark is on the road again on Friday and play against Nixa. One thing working in Nixa's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last eight matches.
