Tyler Wilson put up the most runs he's had since back in March on Friday. He went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and three runs. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against White Pine back in April of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Needles is 9-1 when Wilson posts two or more runs, but 4-7-1 otherwise.

Wilson's strong effort led Needles over White Pine and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs are a perfect 10-0 against the Bobcats going back to April of 2016, a lead they'll look to extend.
