The Meadows School Mustangs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They breezed by Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon at home to the tune of 57-18. The win was just what The Meadows School needed coming off of a 50-14 defeat in their prior match.
Tessa Lalanne continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds. Kate Verdirame was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with two steals.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon struggled to work together and finished the game with only an assist. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as The Meadows School posted 15 assists.
The Meadows School now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. The Meadows School will take on Palo Verde at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
