The Hamilton Lions will be playing at home against the Eupora Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Mississippi (Hamilton is ranked 178th, while Eupora is ranked 163rd).
Last Friday, Hamilton was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 42-36 to Nanih Waiya. It was the first time this season that Hamilton let down their fans at home.
Meanwhile, Eupora had just enough and edged Vardaman out 43-40 on Friday. The win was just what Eupora needed coming off of a 60-27 loss in their prior game.
Hamilton's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-3. As for Eupora, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
