After soaring to 41 points the game before, Dixie faltered in their contest on Friday. They came up short against Ninety Six, falling 0-12. Dixie's low-scoring defeat was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the matchup before.
The loss dropped Dixie's record to 3-2. The win bumped Ninety Six's record up to 5-0.
Next week Dixie take on McCormick at 7:30 PM. McCormick also experienced difficulties finding the end zone in their previous match, so look for the defenses to decide this one. As for Ninety Six, they will face off against Fox Creek. Each team will be battling to keep a win streak alive as Ninety Six skips in on five wins and Fox Creek on three.
