Football Game Preview: Bowdon Red Devils vs. Clinch County Panthers + How To Watch

Two dominant signal callers in Joshua Hopkins and Traviian Miller are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Bowdon Red Devils will challenge the Clinch County Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Bowdon comes in on eight and Clinch County on 13.

Bowdon is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 49-22 victory over Jenkins County. The result was nothing new for the Red Devils, who have now won ten contests by 20 points or more so far this season.

Bowdon's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaiden Prothro, who picked up 67 receiving yards and four TDs. Prothro is on a roll when it comes to receiving touchdowns, as he's now hauled in two or more in each of the last six games he's played. Joshua Chandler was another key rusher, rushing for 121 yards and one score while picking up 7.6 yards per carry.

Bowdon was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 238 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 175 rushing yards in six consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Clinch County didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Wheeler County on Friday, but they still walked away with a 27-22 victory.

Bowdon's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Clinch County, their victory bumped their record up to 13-0.

Bowdon strolled past Clinch County in their previous meeting back in November of 2024 by a score of 30-13. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Devils since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
