Summit Christian Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ava Christophel, who scored eight points along with five rebounds. Jirah Comeaux was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds.
Even though they lost, Summit Christian Academy were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
It was another big night for Mikaela Lee, who dropped a triple-double on 36 points, 13 rebounds, and ten steals for Hampton Christian Academy. The game was Lee's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Lexie Dennis, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Summit Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Hampton Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.
