The Perry Hall Gators extended their postseason success on Friday against the Leonardtown Raiders. They took down the Raiders 34-20. Perry Hall's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Perry Hall's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jacob Wagner led the charge by rushing for 127 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. Da'Shaun Conway was another key contributor, throwing for 128 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes.
Perry Hall pushed their record up to 12-0 with that victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 26.17 points. As for Leonardtown, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-6.
Perry Hall has the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome Mergenthaler Vo-Tech at 6:00 p.m. on November 24th. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Mergenthaler Vo-Tech: 5.4, Perry Hall: 10.6) so any points scored will be well earned. Leonardtown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
