The Bridgehampton Killer Bees scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Shelter Island on the road to the tune of 73-36. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Bridgehampton has managed all season.
Despite the loss, Shelter Island saw an underclassman step up: Evan Weslek scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Harrison Weslek, who scored six points.
Bridgehampton's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Shelter Island, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bridgehampton will face off against Southold at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shelter Island, they will head out on the road to take on Ross at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
