Ellie Beers made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one triple. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, American Leadership Academy let Ashleigh Fronden and Breana Borges run wild. Fronden went 3-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI, while Borges went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Those four RBI gave Fronden a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Perry, who went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases and two runs.
