The Lehigh Lightning scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They put the hurt on Moore Haven with a sharp 65-43 win. The win was nothing new for Lehigh as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Lehigh's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Faith Plummer, who scored 24 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Plummer has scored at least a third of Lehigh's points. Another player making a difference was Sanaa Geter, who scored 18 points.
Lehigh has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. As for Moore Haven, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.
Lehigh will head out on the road to take on the Sharks at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Gulf Coast is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Moore Haven, they will be playing at home against the Greyhounds at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lincoln Park Academy is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 59.8 points per game this season.
