Robert Tripp Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Starting off the list is Northwood's Robert Tripp, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Tripp rushed for 126 yards and four touchdowns on only 12 carries. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (100.4) per game.
Graham's probably not too fond of Tripp given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Tripp saw the Red Devils), he picked up 55 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown.

Devin Witherspoon and Co. Win Fifth in a Row
Cummings picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Devin Witherspoon. Witherspoon's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 101 rushing yards. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 56 yards.
Cummings' victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Witherspoon and Cummings will challenge Northwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Brandon Powell Turns in Another Game with at Least 169 Rushing Yards
North Moore picked up their third consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Brandon Powell. Powell's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 169 rushing yards.
This year, Powell has run in 12 touchdowns while averaging 148.9 rushing yards per game.

Southeast Alamance Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Drew Easter
Drew Easter was instrumental in extending Southeast Alamance's winning streak to seven on Friday. Bartlett Yancey had no answer to Easter as he picked up 21 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Southeast Alamance's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Their homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Seaforth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Jaidyn Briskey's big game helped extend Cummings's winning streak to five on Friday. Briskey wasn't messing around, rushing for 51 yards and two touchdowns. The matchup was his fourth straight with two or more rushing touchdowns. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up two sacks, forced a fumble, and made two total tackles.
This season, Briskey has run in 15 touchdowns while averaging 122.4 rushing yards per game.
