Grenada was led to victory by Kyla Hughes and Lauren Harges. Hughes scored 13 points along with seven rebounds, while Harges scored 14 points along with five assists and three steals. The game was Harges' eighth in a row with at least ten points. Carlei Brown was another key contributor, scoring six points along with eight rebounds.
Winona bumped their record down to 3-7 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 20.3 points per game. As for Grenada, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Winona will be home for the holidays to greet Nanih Waiya at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
