Box Elder is 3-0 against Clearfield since December of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Wednesday. The Box Elder Bees will head out on the road to  challenge  the Clearfield Falcons at 5:15  p.m. Box Elder is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
 Box Elder scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Friday. They put the hurt on Bonneville with a sharp  81-58 victory. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
 Box Elder's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Ashlyn Wight, who  scored 24 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Wight has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Kaydence Barber, who  scored 12 points along with six  steals.
 Meanwhile,  after a string of three wins, Clearfield's good fortune finally ran out  on Friday. They took a   50-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bountiful. Clearfield has not had much luck with Bountiful recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
 Despite the  defeat, Clearfield had strong showings from  Isabelle Wyaskett, who  scored nine points along with eight  rebounds and five  assists, and  Jayla Kearns, who  scored 11 points. Wyaskett is crushing the  steal category: she's  posted at least two every time she's  taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Xiyah Yarbrough, who  scored eight points along with two  blocks.
 Box Elder is  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last nine games,  which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record  this season. As for Clearfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-5.
This contest  is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor:  Box Elder  have been smashing the glass this season,  having  averaged 28.5  rebounds per game. However, it's not like Clearfield struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 31.4  rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
 Box Elder strolled past Clearfield in their previous matchup  back in January by a score of  61-44. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was   Wyaskett, who  scored 14 points along with seven  steals. Now that she's  got a second chance to win this matchup, will Box Elder still be able to contain  Wyaskett? There's only one way to find out.
