The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hilton Head Christian Academy in their matchups with the Dolphins: they've now lost four in a row.
Despite the defeat, Hilton Head Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Harrison James skinner scored 12 points along with two steals. James skinner is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 12 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Epstein, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Hilton Head Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jason Britschge, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Ben Frey was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.
Hilton Head Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Hilton Head Prep, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hilton Head Christian Academy will take on the Hornets at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Savannah Country Day will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 278th in Georgia, while the Eagles are ranked 137th in South Carolina). As for Hilton Head Prep, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Golden Warrriors at 7:30 p.m. John Paul II is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
