The Douglas County Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They fell to New Manchester 66-61. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Despite the loss, Douglas County still got an impressive performance from Kory Young jr., who scored 15 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Marquacious Wright, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds.
Douglas County's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-3. As for New Manchester, their victory ended a eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4.
