Basketball Recap: Bluegrass United Extends Winning Streak to Three

Bluegrass United had won two straight games and Allie McGuire did her part to make it three on Wednesday. The Bluegrass United Bluehawks blew past the Easley HomeSchool Guardians 34-10 thanks in part to McGuire, who posted 12 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Bluegrass United's points.

Sophie Willen was another key player, putting up three points along with six boards and three steals. That's the most rebounds she has posted since back in December of 2024.

Bluegrass United's victory bumped their record up to 18-21. As for Easley HomeSchool, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Bluegrass United has already played their next game, a 49-23 loss against South Guilford HomeSchool on the 5th. Easley HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
