Last Friday, North Pointe Prep put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. They put a hurting on Glendale Prep Academy to the tune of 79-24. With North Pointe Prep ahead 49-12 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Valley Lutheran lost to Tonopah Valley, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 7-62.
North Pointe Prep's win lifted them to 4-1 while Valley Lutheran's loss dropped them down to 1-4. In North Pointe Prep's victory, senior Joe Soriano-Garfias rushed for 130 yards and 3 touchdowns and senior Nijel Rosado rushed for 133 yards and 3 touchdowns. We'll see if Valley Lutheran have a strategy for dealing with them or if they lead their team to another successful outing.
