The Withrow Tigers suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They suffered a tough 67-44 defeat at the hands of Aiken. While losing is never fun, Withrow can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 266th, while Aiken is ranked 58th).
Aiken's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brandon Glass led the charge by dropping a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaiden Arnold, who scored 13 points along with six assists.
This is the second loss in a row for Withrow and nudges their season record down to 3-9. As for Aiken, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-4.
Withrow will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Aiken at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Aiken, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against East Central at 4:30 p.m.
