Barron lost to Ashland back in April, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Golden Bears were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Oredockers. The result was nothing new for the Golden Bears, who have now won eight contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Barron is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Ashland, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

Looking ahead, Barron will square off against Hayward at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hurricanes will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Golden Bears surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ashland, they will challenge Chetek-Weyerhaeuser at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
