Great Falls waltzed into their game on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Lee Central Stallions as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Red Devils were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Stallions, so the Red Devils were just returning the favor.
Great Falls never let Lee Central on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-23, 25-20.
Great Falls' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kenslee Powers led the charge by getting 20 digs and one assist. Powers has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Payson Brantley, who had nine kills, four digs, and three aces.
