Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bloomfield). Everything went their way against the Seven Oaks Classical Firehawks on Tuesday as the Bloomfield Cardinals made off with a 56-34 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Cardinals have posted since January 31, 2024.

Bloomfield's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lola Myers, who went 8 for 20 en route to 19 points in addition to six rebounds and five steals. Those 19 points gave Myers a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Adalyn Figg, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 boards.

Bloomfield smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

When it comes to explaining why Seven Oaks Classical lost, don't look at Macy Bush. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine rebounds. Bush has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times she's played.

Bloomfield's victory bumped their record up to 4-17. As for Seven Oaks Classical, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-6.

Bloomfield has already played their next match, a 53-31 loss against North Daviess on the 30th. As for Seven Oaks Classical, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 53-26 defeat against Eminence on the 29th.
