Faustina Academy's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-5. As for Mercy Prep Academy, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.
Faustina Academy and the Knights will face off at 6:00 p.m. on February 1st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Lakewood Presbyterian has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 2. Mercy Prep Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on the Eagles at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
