The Washington-Wilkes Tigers lost against the Warren County Screaming Devils two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Washington-Wilkes took a serious blow against the Screaming Devils, falling 67-39. Washington-Wilkes has not had much luck with the Screaming Devils recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Warren County found their leader in underclassman Courtney Bray, who scored 31 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bray has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jailee Allen, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
Washington-Wilkes has not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Warren County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-5.
Washington-Wilkes will head out on the road to face off against the Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Oconee Academy will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive. Warren County will take on the Fightin' Irish at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Aquinas will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 327th, while the Screaming Devils are ranked 162nd).
