Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Bridge City walked away with it. They blew past the Hardin-Jefferson Hawks 11-3 on Saturday. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 contests by six runs or more this season.

Bridge City has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6-1 record this season. As for Hardin-Jefferson, their loss dropped their record down to 17-15-1.

As of now, neither Bridge City nor the Hawks have any future games scheduled.
