Christian Ray Delivers Best Effort of Season
Fredericksburg Christian was led to victory by Christian Ray, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Ray rushed for 206 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now rushed for 150 or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
Ray might have his next game, a road matchup with Fork Union Military Academy, circled on his calendar. Ray rushed for 150 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.1 yards per carry the last time he and the Blue Devils duked it out back in October of 2023.

Darius Stafford's big game helped extend Blue Ridge's winning streak to five on Friday. Nobody could stop Stafford as he rushed for 188 yards on only 13 carries, and also picked up 34 receiving yards. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 74-yard run.
Blue Ridge's win bumped their record up to 5-0. Stafford's next matchup is against Atlantic Shores Christian on Saturday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Trip Blalock posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, and also threw for 48 yards and a touchdown. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 79-yard run.
On the season, Blalock has thrown 12 touchdowns while averaging 137.7 passing yards per game.
