The Wilson Lakemen were the 58-45 winner over the Medina Mustangs when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Wilson took a 63-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Medina on Friday. Wilson has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Medina to victory, but perhaps none more so than Justin Pitts, who scored 24 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Pitts has scored all season. Preston Woodworth was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with two steals.
Wilson's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Medina, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-6.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Royalton-Hartland the next time they take the court. Wilson will head out to face Royalton-Hartland at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Medina will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
