Midland Trail came out on top against Summers County by a score of 56-47. The win made it back-to-back wins for Midland Trail.
Among those leading the charge was Bryar Bailes, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jaden Gladwell, who scored ten points.
Midland Trail's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Summers County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Midland Trail will challenge Pocahontas County at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Summers County, they will head out on the road to face off against Wyoming East at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
