Perhaps the best among them was Amir McMillian, who scored 19 points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Ahmare Rose, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds.
Waxahachie's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Parker Jefferson led the charge by dropping a double-double on 21 points and 13 rebounds. Jefferson is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 17 or more in the last five games he's played. Trae Nunn was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Lake Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 26-6. As for Waxahachie, they pushed their record up to 20-10 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home.
