Garfield has struggled against O'Dea recently, as their matchup on Saturday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
O'Dea's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Antone Araujo led the charge by rushing for 69 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, while also throwing for 30 yards and two touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Jason Brown jr and his 153 yards on the ground were also a key factor in O'Dea's win.
O'Dea's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB six times. Leading the way was Zach Proctor and his two sacks.
Garfield's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for O'Dea, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Garfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. O'Dea will face off against Bellevue at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Bellevue's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last ten matchups.
