The match pitted two dominant guards against one another in Ashlin Jacobsen and Paige Kjerstad. Kjerstad had a great game and almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine rebounds. Meanwhile, Jacobsen was balling out in the loss, scoring 18 points.
Meanwhile, Ethan had already won 15 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33.1 points), and they went ahead and made it 16 last Monday. They strolled past Mt. Vernon/Plankinton with points to spare, taking the game 61-46.
Freeman has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-5 record this season. As for Ethan, their victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-1.
